The journey typically takes approximately one hour or so when driving and slightly longer by bus from the island's airport to Cala'n Bosch. Traverse the island on the ME-1 following signs for the former capital of Ciudadela. On the outskirts of Ciudadela, look out forthe RC-2 bypass which will take you south towards Cala'n Bosch. Calan Bosch Villas is in the resort of Cala n Bosch which is to be found on the Mediterranean island of Menorca (also spelt as Minorca). The island of Menorca is the second biggest of the three Balearic islands and is just 34 kilometers from the bigest island, Majorca. Anyone who has previously visited either Majorca or Ibiza, will discover that Menorca is frequently quieter than the other Balaeric islands. With many more beaches than any other Balearic island, Menorca is famous for it's many resorts that are suitable for families. The northern coast of Menorca is mainly very rugged and dotted with peaceful fishing villages. The southern coast of Menorca is mainly a complete contrast and is sprinkled with peaceful resorts that are relaxed and low key.

As already mentioned Menorca is relatively a small island. By renting a car you will be able get around the complete island. There are a lot of tourism information offices to be found in the towns of Menorcaoffering up to date information regarding Minorcan excursions, beaches and local events. The tourism information offices are also an excellent source for a map.

Menorca is a lot smaller and less lively than Majorca. This peacefulness is a major reason why Menorcan holidays are largely focussed on a family holiday.
